Thanks to Yoke's Fresh Market, Friday night, the 6/3 game at GESA Stadium, is Family Feast Night! $2 hot dogs, and $1 bags of chips, ice cream sandwiches, and 12oz Coca-Cola products! My kids and I had about five hot dogs between us three and drinks, and it was delicious. Before the game, you could see family and friends enjoying Happy Hour from 5:30 to 6:30, enjoying discounted Budweiser products at the Home Plate Beer Stand.

A cloudy night in the Tri-cities with some wind played host to the DEBUT of Columbia River Rooster Tails. The Rooster Tails jerseys were worth the wait to see; the Marketing of the debut of the alternate identity of the Dust Devils was fantastic. In the first 24 hours of the drops, caps for the Rooster Tails were sold in 25 different states and Washington DC. #gofastturnleft #rocktherooster is a fantastic design and one that I could not wait to own. The first stop of the night was the team shop.

Quickly after I raided the team shop, I purchased the first round of hotdogs and drinks, and we settled into our seats. The ball was flying all over the yard. The Hillsboro Hops 'hopped' out to a quick 7-0 lead after the first THREE innings of play, as SP Robinson Pina went 5IP, giving up 5ER, allowing 7R, and was not helped by the defense as they caused two Errors, and a played sloppy defense behind him.

The Rooster Tails(Dust Devils) offense saw just one run offensively in the eight innings they faced Hops SP Kenny Hernandez, who dominated the Roosters tails, allowing 1ER, 1BB, and racking up 8K's. The run, as mentioned earlier, was a solo shot off the bat of corner Infielder Kenyon Yovan. Yovan had the most productive night offensively for the Rooster Tails going 3/4, with 2RBI.

The Rooster Tails made a late push against the Hops as they scored three runs in the 9th inning to make the final score 10-4. However, the Hops got 16H against the Rooster Tails pitching staff; the Dust Devils managed 9H with little to show.

The team's offense went 2-6 with RISP, had five runners LOB, and committed two errors. The Rooster's Tails have gone 1-9 over their last ten games. They have now lost seven straight games and are off to an 0-3 start to June. The Dust Devils sit at 19-26 on the season, 6.0 games out of 1st place in the Northwest Division and last place. They finish up the current 6-game set after two more against the Hops and stay at home through the 12 as they take on the Vancouver Canadians, a High-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
